Microsoft releases Microsoft Office 2015 for Mac...well, almost.
If you’re a Microsoft Office for Mac user like me you painfully know that the last update besides patches to this flagship Office product was way back in 2011. Without any advance notice or rumor frenzy, theMicrosoft Office Blogsunveiled the immediate availability of MS Outlook for Mac 2015. This release brings the new look and ribbon interface to Outlook, better performance, and several other features. As long as you’re an Office 365 subscriber, it’s available to download now. Unfortunately, the rest of the Office Suite will not show up until next year. What’s even more interesting is that Microsoft announced that the public beta will be released in the first half of 2015, with general availability in the fall.
